By prior arrangement and an additional charge our team of qualified and experienced PGA professionals, headed up by Luther Blacklock, is on hand to give tuition and provide clinics which are adaptable to all levels of golf. The team is committed to making sure your day with us is as enjoyable memorable and memorable as possible.
Here are some of the ways our professionals can help construct your golf day.
The team can prepare the Scorecards for both morning and afternoon competitions to include the correct handicap allowance for the chosen format. A complete list of players and their current handicap needs to be supplied by the visiting group 4 days before the visit. (Last minute adjustments can be made.)

At the close of play let the Professionals collect the scorecards and provide a list of prize winners. Prizes purchased from the Woburn Pro Shop (see page 5) can also be displayed with presentation labels clearly showing Winners, Runners-Up, Longest Drive and “Nearest the Pin” prizes.

This activity, unique to Woburn, allows novice clients who may not have a golf handicap or play only occasionally to be involved in the Corporate Golf Day. It is great fun, highly educational and competitive. 12 to 8 golfers arrive with the main body of guests but then spend the day at The Golf School at Woburn in the hands of the best coaching team in the country. Having learnt three new golf skills and been involved in a light hearted competition they can rejoin the main group for the presentation dinner in the clubhouse. This is the perfect opportunity to include important clients who might otherwise not feel proficient enough to take on our three Championship courses. Utilising extra professionals can cater for a larger group.

Allow your guests to start their golf day with a Warm-Up facility on the Driving Range under the watchful eye of the Woburn Golf Pros. The Pros can give your guests a warm welcome and a Quick Fix to make sure they are ready for the day's exertions.

Luther Blacklock, is renowned for his entertaining and informative ‘Trick Shot Clinics'. A great ice breaker at the start of the day and an event that large groups of around a hundred can attend; perfect for groups who might only want to play 18 holes. The clinic can also combine with a Warm-Up facility to provide a full morning of fun activity.

Let the Professionals record your guests on the tee as they compete in your Corporate Day. Great fun and also highly revealing and informative, your guest's can see their efforts in the Bar as they enjoy pre-dinner aperitifs.

These competitions can be organised to enhance your main event, we can even provide the markers for Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin. An 18 hole putting competition on our superb putting green adjacent to the Bar and Patio can run throughout the day or be part of a morning's activity.
